I went to the game club for the 2nd time this year. The members I played with were all vaccinated, so I felt safe playing there.
We played Dwelling of Eldervale. I had received this in Dec/Jan and had only played it solo. The solo game is very good, and I think I played 5 games quickly after it arrived. I do remember I won only one time.
At the club, I was able to get a 5 player game going. Joe K., Dave, Gary and Darryl were the other players. I’m not going to go into detail about the game. Just click on the link above to get way more info on BGG than I could ever provide.
Dave eked out a victory over Joe, 50-49. I had 40 and Gary and Darryl were farther behind. I got a thumbs up on the game. I do believe everyone learned a lot during the first play through and we would see a much different game a second time around.
Bottom line, it was just a very good feeling to be playing a game with friends again.
