We had what was probably our last tailgate of the current football year this past Saturday, 10/23. Toledo was at home playing a league game against Western Michigan. There are 4 more home games, but 3 of them will occur at night during the week. We don’t usually go to these because they occur in November and they are usually on TV and it’s usually very cold. The last home game is the Saturday after Thanksgiving, which we may go to. That remains to be seen. That’s also the day of the OSU-Michigan game.
We had almost all our family there. Dave, Emily, and their 3 kids. Mike was with MJ. Marian’s sister, Sandy and her husband, Bill. I had got extra tickets, so Mike was able to bring 2 of his buddies, Wes and Brian with Brian bringing his 2 daughters. Then we were able to give Emily’s friends, Russ and Katie, a couple of tickets so Katie and their daughter, Grace, could attend the game along with Russ and sons, Henry and Logan.
Just a great tailgate with good food and fellowship. The Rockets finally played a complete game and beat Western Michigan 24-15.
