Hockey Winterfest Surprise

I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that my grandson, Brayden, team was going to play on the ice at the Toledo Winterfest. He’s on a U10 house team in Sylvania. Needless to say, this was not something we were going to miss.

They played at 11:00 last Thursday. It was overcast, but still a great day to be outside and to watch a hockey game. Below are some pics and videos of the action. Mike and MJ were able to join us.

Brayden is in the middle.

See them while they wait to get on the ice and a sweep of 5th Third Stadium.

This one is the team hitting the ice for the first time and warming up.

A view of the action from behind the lower deck seats.

After the game, each player got to do a shootout goal try. Below is Brayden’s. He was one of the few on his team to score.

After the game we all went to Loma’s for lunch. Cohen picked this for his birthday luncheon. Got to love GKs who like to go to Loma’s.
