I recently took in a local high school basketball game with my son, Mike, and his son, MJ. It’s the first time we’ve done this and I hope to make it a regular affair.
Mike lives in Whitehouse, which is part of the Anthony Wayne School district. They were playing Perrysburg, which is where my son-in-law, Dave, is an assistant principal.
Perrysburg is one of the top teams in NW Ohio this year. I thought they would handle AW fairly easily, but instead, AW hung with Pburg for a little over 3 quarters. Pburg prevailed in the end, but it was a very good and exciting basketball game. I’m sure AW is already looking forward to the next round. We’ll certainly be there.
