My brother and I always liked playing war and war games. When you live in a rural area, you had to create your fun because there just wasn’t alot of friends nearby.

Dogfight, by Milton Bradley, was a board game we played to create fun.
A simple game to play, but it was just right for 8- and 9-year-olds. We always wanted to win, but it didn’t matter because we just started another game.
I don’t remember if you played cards to move your plane or if each plane just had a movement allowance. I think you rolled the dice to resolve combat.
