I was able to make it over to the club last night. I was excited to be able to get Lost Ruins of Arnak to the table. It is a worker placement and mini deck building game, so it hits my sweet spot. I was thankful that Gary, Kevin and Darryl was willing to play.
I think everyone was okay with the game. It lasts 5 rounds, but somehow I think we managed 6. But all was good in the end. I do think I’ll be able to get it back soon.
After that, I really wanted to play Res Arcana, a medium weight card tableau filler game. I have played it several times on BoardGameArena, but had never played the physical copy. Gary and Darryl agreed to stay and play one game.
I think they liked it, but I don’t think I did a good job of shuffling the cards. I got stuck with a very poor hand. But I love the game and will play it anytime.
