We had to watch one set of GKs for the evening. It just so happened that we had Mud Hen tickets so we took them to the game. The evening was great. The top 3 Tiger farm prospects had all been promoted to Toledo, and were playing their first game at the AAA level. Good stuff.
The Mud Hens won easily, 7-1 over Indianapolis. All the prospects all contributed. Spencer Torkelson drove in the first run of the game with a SAC fly in the 1st. Riley Green went 1-3 with an RBI and 2 walks. Ryan Kreidler hit a solo HR.
As good as the game was, it was made better having the GKs there with us. Popcorn, lemonade, candy, and a Mud Hen hat. Tried to get on the big board with the chicken dance and drink toasts between innings. And then, we finished it off with the 7th inning stretch and Take me out to the Ballgame. Then it was time to go.
Just a fantastic family evening.
