Have you ever read any John Grisham books? I’ve read probably 6-7. I just finished one of his latest, ‘A Time for Mercy’. For me, his books have always been good, easy reads.
This one is about a boy who kills his mother’s boyfriend. He’s been abusing the mother, daughter and boy. The boyfriend takes it a little too far one night, and he ends up shooting and killing him. This, after both he and his sister think’s the boyfriend has killed his mother.
The main character is Jake Brigance, who has appeared in other Grisham novels. He’s the lawyer in ‘A Time to Kill’ from a few years ago.
